Foltin & Joke @ Pivofest 2011

Foltin is very well known band for the audience in Prilep. Their music is hard to define, sounds unpredicateble and challenging: surreal, passionate and witty, dynamic, full of surprises and humorous, blending many different music genres: jazz, funk, bossa nova, ambient, and electro. Live performances made Foltin famous, they are often theatrical and often turn into real performances.
Joke is an alternative, ska band from France. Their music is hard to define too. According their web site: "Enriched in musicians, the group constantly open to new musical landscapes: rock, funk, dub, hip-hop, soukous, reggae, ska, punk."

Superhiks @ Pivofest 2011
We are very excited to announce that Superhiks will play at Pivofest 2011 for the second year in a row. It will be third show at beer festival in Prilep for the most popular ska band in Macedonia. Their performance will be at the first day of the festival.Monday, June 13, 2011
Van Gogh @ Pivofest 2011
Serbian rock band Van Gogh will perform on the main stage at the second day of PivoFest 2011 that will be held from 14 to 17 July in Prilep. Van Gogh is a highly successful band from Belgrade formed in 1986 and since then have released 8 studio albums. They won the award for the Best Adriatic Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007. Red Five Point Star, rock/ska band from Slovenia will play at the main stage in Prilep too. Their performance is scheduled for the first day of the annual beer festival.

Pivo Fest 2011
The 9th traditional beer festival in Prilep this year will take place at the main square from July 14-17. Zdravko Čolić, popular balkan pop singer from Serbia will be the main star with his performance on the main stage on the last day of the festival. More performers and other informations will be announced soon.
Pivo Fest for the first time was held in 2003 with a few beer and grill stands. Last year there were more than 15 different beers and more than 300.000 visitors.
